Louis Ackerman is the father of Francis Ackerman Sr. and the grandfather of Marcus Williams and Francis Ackerman Jr. He was a talented mask maker in New Orleans. He had a drinking issue when he was younger and in result killed his wife in a driving accident. He was no stranger to cruelty as he once locked Francis Ackerman Sr. in a trunk full of snakes.
He traded his shop for an old plantation in the Bayou.
